The Architects of "Six Senses Formosa Bay"

Gremi International SARL is proud to announce that an exceptional Brazilian team of architects, Galvez & Marton Arquitetura in close cooperation with Felipe Bezerra Arquitetos has been chosen to design the final architectonic masterplan for the 1st phase of “EcoEstrela Project” - the extraordinary “Six Senses Formosa Bay”.

In line with Six Senses sustainability commitments, construction materials will come from sustainable sources together with repurposed materials, with much of it being produced in Brazil. Villa designs, will follow a contemporary line with minimum energy consumption wedded to guest comfort as a strong consideration.

Furnishings will evoke a natural and neutral palate together with splashes of vibrancy that shall reflect Brazil’s colorful culture. Main facility structures such as restaurants and the spa will take on individual design characters and themes to enhance guest experiences.

Six Senses Formosa Bay masterplan consists of 73 one- two- and three-bedroom Pool Villas with easy access to water sports; 54 two- and three-bedroom Family Villas with family and wellness orientation; and 58 three- four- and five-bedroom Six Senses Residences which shall be made available for private ownership.

Galvez & Marton. The office founded in 2006 by Andrés Gálvez and Márton Gyuricza is currently composed by three additional partners: Gabriel Reis, Gabriel Bocchile and Lina Maeoca. The team elaborates architectural unique and high-spirited projects, prioritizing structural intelligence, formal simplicity and spatial quality. The project concept developed is fully integrated into a 3D platform, enabling smart and efficient work dynamics. Gálvez & Márton Arquitetura is recognized for its publications in the most important Brazilian architecture and design magazines and has been a finalist in multiple awards in the field. Their portfolio includes residential and commercial projects, social / sports clubs and resorts, ranging from the most luxurious homes to hotels in paradisiac locations.

Felipe Bezerra (Natal, Brazil, 1970) graduated in architecture and urbanism from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte UFRN in 1997. He founded his own office FB|A in 2000 and has worked since then in many residential and commercial projects in the northeast of Brazil. In 2013 he also founded Mula Preta design studio with Andre Gurgel and have been prized with many recognized international awards as Good design (Chicago) and A’Design award (Milan).
